Agnes I. Stout, 96, of Rochester passed away at 9:50 a.m., Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Chase Center in Logansport.
Born on January 11, 1915 in Lee County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Cora (Lane) Mayse. She married Charles Grigsby in 1934 and he preceded her in death in March of 1946. On October 2, 1954 she married Donald W. Stout, he survives.
Agnes retired from RBM in Logansport after 35 years and she was a member of the first initiated class of the Logansport Eagles Ladies Aux. 323. Agnes enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, mushroom hunting, squirrel hunting, gardening, planting flowers, being outdoors and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and having them all home for the holidays.
Survivors include her husband, Donald W. Stout of Rochester, daughter, Donna K. Pierson and husband Randy of Florida, son, Charles Grigsby of Indianapolis, step children, Ralph Stout and Beatrice Dailey both of Lagro. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, two sisters, one half brother, one half sister and eleven step brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, February 7, 2001 at the funeral home with Pastor David Welch officiating.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
