Alice J. Friedrich

Services for Alice J. Friedrich, 88 of Kewanna, will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Fulton Baptist Temple, 106 W. Dunn St., Fulton.
She passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Woodbridge Health Campus of Logansport.
Born June 25, 1921 in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil Lyman and Fleetie (Crippen) King. On April 13, 1941 she married John R. Friedrich and he preceded her in death on August 28, 1980.
She was a 1939 Fulton High School graduate and South Bend Business College graduate. Mrs. Friedrich was a homemaker. She was a member of Fulton Baptist Temple, Manitou Garden Club and Prairie Grove Home-Ec Club. Alice enjoyed candy making, flower gardening and bird watching.
Surviving are daughters, Patricia Ann Jones & husband, William and Katherine J. Smith & husband, Allan, son, Larry E. Friedrich & wife, Gloria, all of Kewanna, one brother, Lyman King & wife, Helen of Rochester and one sister, Luella Emery & husband, Doyne of Macy. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jenny Smith & husband, Leo of Galveston, Dale S. Friedrich & wife, Regina of Pierceton, Amy J. Seeman & husband, Dan of Greenfield, Jeff Smith & wife, Diana of Kewanna and grandson-in-law, Robert P. Kirkley & wife, Cindy of Columbus, Ohio and great grandchildren, Morgan Seeman, Ashleigh and Nataleigh Friedrich, Andrea, Andrew, Mark and Samuel Smith, Zachary and Matthew Kirkley.
She was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Lorraine Ann Jones Kirkley and sister, Anna Hartman.
Friends may call from 4:00- 8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna and also one hour prior to the service at the church.
Pastor Bruce Russell will officiate at the service and burial will be in Kewanna Citizens IOOF Cemetery.
The family request memorial contributions be made to Fulton Baptist Temple.
