Amanda M Sobieck Erow

August 21, 1970 — February 19, 2014

Amanda M. Sobieck Erow, 43 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away unexpectedly February 19, 2014.

Born August 21, 1970 in Winamac, she was the daughter of the late John R. Hardt and Nettie (Watts) Edwards. On October 12, 2013 she married Steve Erow.  He survives.

She was a 1988 Knox High School graduate.

Amanda was a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for her profession.  She was employed at Cigna Health in Phoenix.

She was a member of Sun Valley Christian Community Church in Gilbert, Arizona. Amanda enjoyed camping in Turkey Run and most of all spending time with her children and family.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Erow of Phoenix, son, Adam Sobieck of Indianapolis, daughter, Emily Sobieck of Knox, grandmother, Erie Watts of Royal Center, sister, Sandra Leffert of Logansport, step brother, Ryan Edwards (Rachel) of Logansport, step sisters, Jennifer Rance (Ben) of Logansport and Crystal Edwards of Destin, Florida,  Aunts, Betty Laws(Ancel) of Kokomo, Mary Frye (Ken) of Burnettsville, and Carolyn Gillmore, of Royal Center, nephew, Cory Leffert (Brooke) of Logansport and niece, Brittany Leffert (Charlie Roland) of Rochester.  Amanda is also survived by several cousins.

She was also preceded in death by grandparent, James Watts, aunt, Fay Duddleston and cousin, Shawn Berkshire.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Helm Street Church of God, 711 Helm St., Logansport with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Local arrangements have been entrusted to Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Royal Center.
