Argyle "Dean" Carr
May 28, 1934 — March 23, 2015
Argyle “Dean” Carr, 80, of Logansport, passed away at 6:22 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2015 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on May 28, 1934, in Kewanna, he was the son of the late Carl “Barney” and Ruth (Huey) Carr.
On November 13, 1954, he married Betty (Brown) Carr who survives.
Dean retired in 1995 from the Logansport State Hospital where he had worked in maintenance for 42 years.
He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Betty, daughter, Barbara Kelly of Pendleton brother, James Carr of Kewanna. He is also survived by grandchildren; Joe Hayden of Logansport, and DeAnna Hayden of Pendleton, and great- granchildren; Ashton Coffman of Pendleton, and Bryce, Kennedy, and Lucas Hayden all of Logansport.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 27, 2015 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Dr. Horace Smith officiating.
Visitation will be held from noon until the time of service also at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
