Arlos (Fisher) Herrick

Arlos C. Herrick, 78, of Winamac, passed away at 11:35 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Pulaski Memorial Hospital.

Born on December 14, 1935 in Francesville, she was the daughter of the late Russel and Mable (Freeman) Fisher. On December 10, 1956, she married Vernon L. Herrick.  He preceded her in death March 22, 2004.

She was a 1954 Francesville High School graduate.

Arlos was a homemaker.  She was a member of Pulaski Presbyterian Church in Pulaski where she formerly taught Sunday School and she was a former member of the rural youth club.

Arlos also enjoyed square dancing and bowling.

Survivors include her sons, William “Bill” Herrick of Winamac, Paul O. Herrick (Tina) of Knox and Jeffrey D. Herrick (Sonia) of Rochester, brother, Ronnie Fisher (Gaye Ellen)of Charlotte, NC., sisters, LoraVene Nielsen of Phoenix, AZ. and Sharon Wendt of Winamac, grandchildren, Heather Herrick, Edward Herrick and James Herrick and 3 step grandchildren, Jason Martin, Tylar Martin and Breanna Calvert.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Norman Fisher, Virgil “Gene” Fisher and John Fisher and sister, Audrey Livingston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Tippecanoe Christian Church with Pastor Ed Clark officiating.
