Mrs. Arnedia Ledbetter, 78, of Logansport, passed away at 10:58 a.m., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Chase Center.
Born on August 26, 1935 in Sexton, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Tommie and Othella (Walker) Clark. Arnedia was the oldest of 10 siblings. She was baptized at Wright Chapel C.M.E. Church at an early age.
Arnedia graduated from Lovejoy High School in Brooklyn, Illinois. She retired from Pulaski Memorial Hospital after 25 years. Arnedia also was employed at Logansport Memorial Hospital for over 10 years.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and enjoyed volunteering at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include sons; Anthony "Tony" L. Stovall (Janetta) of Logansport, Derrick Stovall (Sally) of Indianapolis, Michael Stovall (Francesca) of Phoenix, Arizona, Larry Stovall, and Rodney Stovall both of Indianapolis, daughter, Angela Harris of Logansport, brothers; Spencer Clark of East St. Louis, Illinois and Ronald Clark of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, sisters; Glendora Evans of St. Louis, Missouri, Lisa D. Johnson of Los Angeles, California, Jacqueline Akins of East St. Louis, Illinois, Lois Williams of Oakland, California, and Carolyn Clark of East St. Louis, Iliinois, and grandchildren, Ikenna Stovall, Miranda Stovall, Lamarr Stovall, Jada Stovall, Brieonna Stovall, Lathann Stovall, Michelle Stovall, Raymond Harris, Julian Harris, and Mark Harris, and also step grandchildren; Lucas, Kylie, Isacc, Madison, Cheyenne, and Ciera. Arnedia is also survived by great grandchildren; Raymond Harris Jr., and Essence Harris.
Arnedia was also preceded in death by her husbands, James E. Stovall and Lester Ledbetter and brothers, Tommie and Donald Clark.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013 at All Saints Catholic Church. Father Dominic Petan will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2013 at Marrocco a�" Rans Funeral Chapel where there will also be a Scripture Service at 7:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
