Barry Dean Powlen

Barry Dean Powlen, 65, of Peru passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at his residence.

Born on March 18, 1954 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Tommie and Helen (Overmyer) Powlen.

He was a 1972 Pioneer High School graduate.

Barry was a self employed carpenter who loved taking care of his dogs.

Survivors include his companion, Pam Goodnight of Peru, son, Jason Goodnight of Peru, sisters, Carol Chesley (Alan) of Lucerne, Julia Hatfield (Tim) of Upland and Sandra Gunter (Tim Osborn) of Logansport, brother, Ronald Powlen (Judi) of Logansport and Steven Powlen (Maribel).  He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per Barry’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
