Betty L. Shafer, 77, of Logansport formerly of Burnettsville passed away at 7:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on November 14, 1934 in Burnettsville, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Margaret (Risser) Holmes.
Betty retired from Chase Center where she worked in the Dietary Department for over 20 years.
Survivors include her children, Kurt Shafer (Carol) of Logansport, Kevin Shafer of Colorado, Kerry Shafer of Logansport and Mitcheline Curtis (Keith) of Logansport. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
There will be no visitation or services.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
