Betty F. Smith

Betty F. Smith, 96, of Royal Center passed away at 1:14 p.m., Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on March 11, 1916 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Grace (Fultz) Floyd. On September 30, 1933 she married Virgil C. Smith. He preceded her in death on April 15, 1981.
Betty was homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family, traveling in her younger years, reading, watching NBA basketball games and Nascar races and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Jack L. Smith and his wife Ruth of Lucerne, 7 grandchildren, Brad Smith, Steve Smith, Lori Soloman, Amy Cunningham (Barry), Scott Smith (Debbie), Lisa Evans (Brian) and Tod Smith (Joyce). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, George E. Smith, granddaughter in law, Mildred Smith, brother, Donald Floyd and wife Alma and sister, Mary Berkshire and husband Wilbur.
There will be no visitation.
Private Graveside Services will be held at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center at a later date.
