Betty Lou Voss, 78, of Burnettsville passed away at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at I.U. Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Born on August 8, 1934 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow W. Dilling and Grace (Short) Dilling Younkins. On April 6, 1955 she married William R. Voss, Sr. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2006.
Betty was a 1952 graduate of Idaville High School.
She was employed for over 35 years at the Logansport State Hospital where she worked as a nurse and also in the linen department.
Betty was a member of Burnettsville Church of the Brethren and Women's Fellowship. She enjoyed making noodles and collecting stamps for the church's various fundraisers. She also enjoyed wordsearch and crossword puzzles, sewing, walking and riding her bike.
Survivors include sons; William R. Voss Jr., (Jackie) of Wetumpkia, Alabama, Paul A. Voss (Terri) of Monticello, Robert J. Voss of Muncie and Robin L. Voss (Julie) of Monticello, brother, Richard Dilling (Iris) of Palesade, Colorado and grandchildren, Amber Voss of Wetumpkia, Alabama and Madison and Macie Voss of Monticello.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Marocco- Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dave Nihiser officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery.
