Beverly K. Kimble, 62 , Kewanna, passed away Sunday morning, March 25, 2007 at 9:32 a.m., at her home in Kewanna after a four year battle with cancer.
Born June 23, 1944 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Roy Allen Hiers and Gertrude Stangle. She was then adopted by the late Charles Edgar and Mary Elizabeth Reames in 1947, and raised in the Fulton area.
She was a 1963 graduate of North Caston High School. On November 10, 1963, she married Larry R. Kimble at the Fulton United Methodist Church. He survives.
Over the years, she worked at Paradise Truck Stop; The Elks Lodge 2120; Hart, Schaffner & Marx, all of Rochester; and at Lynnchr(39)s Coffee Shop, Kewanna. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to garage sales and flea markets, gardening, and playing with her dogs, Samantha and Annie. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Lodge 1107 Rochester; Eagles Ladies Auxilliary, Lodge 1900 Plymouth; and the Kewanna Fire Belles.
Surviving along with her husband, Larry, are one daughter, RaeAnn Snider, Kewanna; three sons, David Kimble (Tiffany), Leiters Ford; Terry Kimble (Sarah), Rochester; Michael Kimble (Jennifer), Talma. 13 Grandchildren, Chad Heinold, Victoria and Bethany Snider, Dustan and Shawna Kimble, Adam, Austin, Aaron and Aiden Kimble, all of Kewanna; Latasha Reames(Dustin), Winamac; Patrisha and Corrine Kimble, Talma; and Kendrick Kesler, Leiters Ford. One Great-Granddaughter, Haley Reames, Winamac. One brother, Charles Dewey Reames (Jane), Burlington, IN.; One half-sister, Teresa Newman, Colorado; and one half-brother, Ralph Marter, Illinois; several neices & nephews.
She is preceded in death by four sisters, Carol Hart, Margie McGill, Georgie Brown and Ethel Bliss ; and one brother, Jerry Reames.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 10:30 a.m., at Kewanna United Methodist Church, Kewanna. Pastor Mike Tatman will officiate. Burial will follow at Citizens IOOF Cemetery, Kewanna.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel, and one hour before time of service at the church on Thursday.
