Blanche B. Howell

Blanche B. Howell, 96, of Logansport, passed away at 5:25 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Woodbridge Health Campus.
Born on March 29, 1918 in Walton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Edna (Shaffer) Vore.
On August 4, 1934, she married Richard T. Howell. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1995.
Blanche was a member of Grace Fellowship Church. She was an avid bingo player, and loved her animals.
Survivors include her sons; Richard T. Howell, Jr. of Logansport, Robert E. Howell (Wanda) of Logansport, and Harold L. Howell (Judy) of Anoka, brothers; Robert Vore (Betty) of Walton and Lonnie Vore (Myra) of Minnesota, grandchildren; Mindy Howell, Lisa Kruger, Tim Howell, Carolyn Howell, Tom Howell, Terry Howell, and Barry Howell. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Charles, Alvie, Lloyd, Mary, Lucille, Geraldine and Patricia and daughter in law, Kay Howell.
Services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jay McKinley officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
