Brian Scott Lammer

Brian Scott Lammer, 47, of Pensacola, Florida, and formerly of Logansport, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola.

Born on May 31, 1967 at Grissom Air Force Base, Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Gervase “Fritz” A. and Constance J. Lammer.

A 1985 graduate of Lewis Cass High School, Brian worked as a self-employed floor covering specialist in the Pensacola area for the past 30 years.  He also served as a member of the Sons of The American Legion.  He was an avid fisherman, spending many weekends fishing in the waters of the Gulf Coast.  He also enjoyed sports immensely, and took great pride in coaching his daughter Sarah’s softball team.  Brian was a formidable chess player and greatly enjoyed games of strategy.  He also loved playing horseshoes, watching the evening sunset, and spending time with his family and friends.

Brian is survived by his loving wife, Anita Renee Lammer, of Pensacola, FL; daughter, Sarah Renee Lammer, of Pensacola; two step-sons, Jeremy Hardin and William “Tony” (Lariah) Snow, both of Pensacola; two grandchildren, Will Jr. and Lonna Snow, also of Pensacola; mother, Constance Lammer, of Logansport; father, Gervase “Fritz” Lammer, of Cantonment, FL; brothers, Timothy A. (Lisa) Lammer of Grass Lake, MI and Christopher J.(Catharine) Lammer of Noblesville, IN; four nephews, several aunts and uncles, and many cousins.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be conducted between 11-3pm on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel, Logansport, IN.

Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
