Bruce Brechbiel

Services for Bruce Brechbiel, 74, of Logansport will be at 10:00 a.m. August 9, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St. in Logansport.

He died at 10:58 p.m. Tuesday August 5, 2008 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born June 16, 1934 in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of the late Ralph and Lois (Risser) Brechbiel.A� Bruce married Patricia Fillion of Lynn, Mass. in 1961.

He was a 1952 Burnettsville High School Graduate.

Bruce was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served 15 months as a Hospital Corpman with the 3 rd Battalion 1 st Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.A� He retired from the Navy in 1970 after 20 years. He was also Chief Lab Tech at Logansport Memorial Hospital for 18 years retiring in 1989.

He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. 3790, a member of the American Legion 60, Logansport Elks Lodge and he enjoyed golfing and bowling.A� Bruce was also an avid Nascar and Cubs Fan.

Survivors include his wife Pat Brechbiel, of Logansport, 1 son Scott Brechbiel and his wife Christina of Florence, Mass., 1 brother Mick Brechbiel of Logansport, and 4 grandchildren, Aaron Brechbiel and his mom Pam of Wayne, PA., and Marie, Addie and Ashton Brechbiel of Florence, Mass.A� He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday August 8, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.

Chaplain Larry Phillips will officiate at the service.A�

Burial with Full Military Rites will be conducted at Legion Circle in Mt. Hope Cemetery by the Cass County Veteranchr(39)s Council.
