Services for Carole M. Hamman, 73 of Kewanna will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel.

She died at 1:48 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Hickory Creek Healthcare Center in Winamac.

Born October 4, 1934 in Winamac, she was the daughter of the late Harry Dee and Ada Mae (Adams) Harris. On May 16, 1953 in Kewanna, she was married to Ron E. Hamman, he survives.

She was a 1952 Kewanna High School graduate, a member of Kewanna United Methodist Church, Carole was also an avid reader who loved spending time with family and friends.

She retired April 30, 2005 after over 43 years from Winamac Coil Spring in Kewanna.

Survivors include her husband, Ron E. Hamman of Kewanna, one son, Scott Hamman and wife Elena of Viera, Florida, one daughter, Terri L. Lynch and husband Ed of Winamac, 10 grandchildren, Kyle, Eddie, Shannon, Heather, Sean, Brent, Nikki, Melissa, Amanda and Casandra, andA�8 great grandchildren, Brayden, Kamryn, Rylan, Maddox, Ashlee, Blake, Alex, and Christian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Michael Hamman, and one brother, William Harris.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Kewanna Chapel.

Pastor Steve McPeek will officiate at the service and burial will be at Citizens I.O.O.F. cemetery in Kewanna at a later date.
