Catherine J. Pressnall

Catherine J. Pressnall, of Logansport passed away at 8:05 p.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospice in Indianapolis.

She was born in Lima, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Hattie (Taflinger) Moening.

Catherine retired in 1992 from Gencorp in Logansport as an Inspector. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, sewing, making items for Riley Children's Hospital and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Catherine was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Aux. #60, V.F.W. Ladies Aux. #3790 and the Winamac Eagles.

Survivors include her children, Christopher Carson and wife Laurie of San Jose, California, Rita McElheny and husband Charles of Indianapolis and Rhonda Wood of Logansport, brother, Charles Moening and wife Patricia, sister, Caroline Joan Wheeler and husband Alonzo of Ft. Wayne. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, George J. Pressnall, son, Michael Carson, brothers, William Moening, Robert Moening, and sisters, Rita Moening and Mary Haskins.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Marocco- Rans Funeral Chapel.

Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Walton I.O.O.F. cemetery.
