Charlotte M. (Yeater) Bowen

Logansport

Charlotte M. Bowen, 78, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on April 4, 1942 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Vera (Largen) Yeater.

She was a 1960 Washington Township High School graduate.

On April 21, 1968 she married Gary M. Bowen, he survives.

Charlotte formerly worked at Kresge’s, JoAnn Fabrics and also had been the former choir director at Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, a life member of the American Indian Council, Civic Players American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and were also co leaders of the Cass County 4-H Cotton Tails for 29 years.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Bowen of Logansport, son, Jeff Bowen of Logansport, daughter, Deborah Bowen Harrison (Melissa) of Logansport, sisters, Martha Cory of Kokomo and Renalou Woolever of Florida, granddaughter, De`Anna Harrison and great grandchildren, Joseph Harrison, Derris Harrison, Michael Harrison, Mary Harrison, and Aedan Harrison.

She was also preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Ellen Bowen, brother, David Yeater and sister, Marjorie Yeater Way.

Graveside Services will be at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Ever Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help family with expenses.
