Christopher L. Lachance, 53, of Kewanna passed away unexpectedly at 3:52 a.m., Sunday, November 17, 2019 at his residence.
Born on June 27, 1966 in Portland, Oregon, he was the son of the late Louis and Chrystle Mae (Ridley) Lachance.
Chris was a graduate of Portland Community College High School and also graduated from Oakland City University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Army.
He was a member of the Tipton F&AM Lodge in Logansport, AAHMES Shriners International CA Ambassador, Fulton County Historical Society and V.F.W. #1343. He was formerly, Ambassador European Shrine Club, Logansport Shrine Club, Logansport Shrine Club 3rd Wheel Patrol and past president and adult Girl Scout Member and Volunteer.
Chris was currently a truck driver for TMC Transportation.
Survivors include his wife, LaDonna Lachance of Kewanna and daughters, Chrystle Lachance of Kewanna and Mariah “Snow” Lachance of Evansville, brother in law, Jack Pruett, nephew, Scott Imler and great niece, Payton Imler. He is also survived by many friends and veterans that he served with.
Remembrances will be at various places where he had memberships.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send cards, letters, stories and pictures of how and when you knew him or donate to funeral home expenses.
