Clifford A. Bragdon

Clifford A. Bragdon, 88 of Kewanna passed away at 9:17 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at home.

Born on March 10, 1936 in Ashland, Maine, he was the son of the late Ralph and Violet (McGaughey) Bragdon.

Cliff was a member of the Mid America Operating Engineers Local 103. He also owned and operated Cliff’s Laundry.

He loved junking, cutting wood and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Brenda Rice (Michael) of Star City, Jean Grzybowski (Walter) of Kewanna, Gladys Bragdon of Logansport, Norman Bragdon of Kewanna and Clifford Bragdon, Jr. of Kewanna, and sister, Natalie Maynard of Castle Hill, Maine. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 21 great great grandchildren and 70 nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by siblings, Julia Ellis, Allen Bragdon, Thurston Bragdon, Mildred Bragdon, Aubrey Bragdon, Betty Ellis, Ada Bragdon Ellis and Rachel Pinette.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the V.F.W. Post 1121, 507 S. Railroad St., Kewanna.
