Constance (Connie) J. Lammer, 75, of Westfield, formerly of Logansport, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at IU Health North Hospital in Carmel.
Born on January 8, 1946 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Schlick) Lewellen.
She was a 1964 graduate of Logansport High School, and retired from the Logansport State Hospital in 2001.
Connie was first and foremost a dedicated mother and grandmother. Her greatest love was always her family. She had a tremendous talent for arts, crafts, and woodworking, and took great joy in working on special projects with each of her grandchildren. She also had a lifelong love for animals, and enjoyed the company of many beloved pets over the years. She also enjoyed gardening, playing cards, visiting the beach, and spending time with her loved ones.
Survivors include her sons, Timothy A. (Lisa) Lammer of Grass Lake, MI, and Christopher J. (Catharine) Lammer of Noblesville, IN, brothers Eugene Lewellen and Frank Lewellen, both of Logansport, brother William Lewellen of Westfield, sister Catherine Searcy of Logansport, grandchildren Sarah Lammer of Pensacola, FL, Preston and Travis Lammer, both of Grass Lake, and Jacob and Zachary Lammer, both of Noblesville, a great-granddaughter, Candace Lammer of Grass Lake, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and her uncle, Joseph Schlick, of Logansport.
She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Scott Lammer, and her sister, Mary Ann Michael.
Visitation will be from 4:00 –7:00 p.m., Monday, September 27, 2021 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.
Services will be private.
