Services for Dale E. Odom, 84, of Star City will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday in the Mount Hope Cemetery Chapel.
He died at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, January 13, 2007 in Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac.
Born August 7, 1922, in Logansport, he was the son of the late John and Susan (Glosser) Odom. He was married September 3, 1949 in Logansport to Betty J. Morgason, who preceded him in death on September 9, 2005.
Dale attended Logansport High School and was a plater at Rockwell International in Logansport, retiring in 1986. He also worked at Wal-Mart and previously was a Pinkerton Guard.
Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II.
He enjoyed gardening, traveling and taking care of his cats.
Surviving are one daughter, Joyce Small; one granddaughter, Tabitha Small; one grandson, Jeremiah Small; one brother, Richard Odom, all of Logansport.
Pastor Horace Smith will officiate at the services. Burial, with full military rites, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport. Friends may call one hour before services Tuesday in the cemetery chapel.
