Daniel L. Klimes, 61, of Logansport went to rest in the arms of his Lord at 4:01 a.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on October 18, 1957 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he was the son of Richard D. and Carol (Morgan) Klimes.
He was a 1976 Logansport High School graduate.
On July 17, 1999 he married Deborah L. Baker, she survives.
Danny was currently employed at SUS Casting Service in Logansport for several years. He had also formerly worked for Trelleborg, Schrader’s Automotive both of Logansport and Diamond Engine & Machine in Monticello.
Danny was an adopted member of the Appalachian Shawnee Tribe through his wife and was named “Resting Badger Painted Hollow”. He enjoyed riding his Harley and visiting his home in West Virginia where he was a member of Bethel Chapel Church in Dutchman, West Virginia. Danny also loved his cats especially “Smokey Joe”.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah L. Klimes of Logansport, father, Richard D. Klimes of Logansport, daughters, Jessica Klimes Crippen (Jennings) and granddaughter Waylynn and Tero Shook McCarty and grandchildren, Kaelyn and Lucas, step-son, Brad Rosebrock (Carrie) and grandchildren, Grace and William, daughter’s in law, Amanda Klimes and grandchildren, Jackson, Cayden, Auren, Evelyn and Jane Homburg and special grandson, Derek Klimes.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Klimes, and sons, Jason Klimes and Jacob Klimes.
Services and visitation will be private.
