Darlene C. (Kasper) Kindem

Darlene C. Kindem, 93, of Noblesville, Indiana passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 11, 1928 to the late Roy and Rose Kasper.

On October 14, 1950 she married the love of her life Laurence H. Kindem, Jr. in Minnesota.  He preceded her in death on June 28, 2007.

Together with her husband they owned and operated Idlewild Resort in Balsam Lake, Wisconsin.  They enjoyed an active retirement life in Sun City Center, FL.  Darlene enjoyed golfing and was a member of women’s golf leagues, swimming, entertaining, playing cards, and word searches. She cherished visits with family and friends most of all. Darlene was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, FL. She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.

Darlene is survived by her children, son Bruce Kindem (Deb Williamson), granddaughter Michelle Anders (Mike), and son Dennis Kindem (Sue Nesbit), granddaughter, Megan Kindem (Adam Firle) great grandchildren, Kohen, Karsyn and Weston and grandson Nathan Kindem.

She was preceded in death by brother, Fred Kasper and sister, Delores Eby.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. with services immediately following on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Rans Funeral Home & Crematory, Marocco Chapel in Logansport, Indiana with Father Adam Mauman officiating.
