David R. Curts, 88, of Logansport, passed away at 2:45 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.
Born on August 27, 1925 in Corydon, Indiana he was the son of the late Allen and Ruth (Personett) Curts.
On July 31, 1955 David married Marilyn Harding. She preceded him in death on September 22, 2010.
He served in the Korean War with the U. S. Army.
David was formerly employed at RBM and he retired from Indiana Motor Bus in 1988 where he was employed as a mechanic. David was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Post #60, and the Logansport Eagles. He enjoyed watching American Pickers and Pawn Stars on television.
Survivors include sons; John D. Curts, and Rick H. Curts both of Logansport, grandchildren; Stephen Michael Curts of California and Christopher David Curts of Marion, sisters; Marilyn Hover, and Beverly McLaggan, both of California, daughter in law, Susan Curts of California and sister in law, Janet Cowan of Hawaii. David is also survived by a niece and cousin.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, November 18, 2013 at the funeral home.
Burial with Military Rites will be performed at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
