David Nelson Ryan "River Dave"

David Nelson Ryan “River Dave”, 62, of Peru formerly of Logansport passed away in Logansport.

Born on December 26, 1956 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Asa and Edna Mae (Stamper) Ryan.

Dave was a welder and had recently been taking classes at Ivy Tech Community College.

He was a member of Incarnate Word Fellowship Church in Miami County.  Dave loved his dog, Sheba and enjoyed fishing, camping and playing guitar.

Survivors include his daughters, Andrea Green (Josh) of Russiaville and Jamie Patterson of Minnesota, brother, Richard Ryan (Anita) of Wheatland, grandchildren, Gabe, Delilah, Vincent, Carmen, Jacob and Allison, great grandson, Shawn and nieces, Dawn, Angelica, and Christina.

He was also preceded in death by a niece, Glenda and his former wife, Michelle (Hoover) Ryan.

Services will be private.
