Deanna L. Pinder Hale, 45 of Kewanna, formerly of Plymouth, went to be with her Lord at 12:27 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2011 at Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester.
Born March 23, 1966 in Heideberg, Germany, she was the daughter of Jerry and Beverly (Hood) Pinder. On September 15, 2006 she married Jason Hale, he survives.
She was a 1984 Plymouth High School graduate and received her nursing degree from Ivy Tech in 1993.
Most of her nursing career was spent working at Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth. Deanna was a passionate nurse who enjoyed her work. She was a joy to her parents and the love of Jason's life. She had a contagious laugh and a lovely smile for everyone she met.
Survivors include her husband, Jason Hale of Kewanna, sons, Brett Kersey and Jared Fawley, both of Kewanna, her parents, Jerry and Beverly Pinder of Plymouth, brothers, Kerry Pinder and wife, Stephanie of Culver and Darren Pinder and wife, Vanessa of Knox, grandmother, Fay Pinder of Culver, nieces and nephews, Brendon Pinder, Abigail Pinder, Jacob Pinder and Olivia Tallarita. She was also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Harold Pinder and maternal grandmother, Doris Hood.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Harrison-Metzger and Rans Funeral Home, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna.
Pastor Christopher Tiedeman will officiate and burial will be at Citizens IOOF Cemetery, Kewanna.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2011 at the funeral home and also one hour prior to time of service on Tuesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
