Dee Kitchell

Dee Kitchell, 83, of Royal Center passed away at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 3, 1927 in Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Berlin and Pearl (Swisher) Pugh. On July 7, 1947 she married James E. Kitchell and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1990.
Dee was a graduate of Royal Center High School. She was a Homemaker who was a member of Royal Center United Methodist Church, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and she was a former member of the Royal Center Order of Eastern Star and GG Euchre Club.
Dee enjoyed decorating for the holidays, entertaining, cooking, baking, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Mike Kitchell and wife Beth of Logansport, Linda Kraay of Dakota, Minnesota, Brad Kitchell and wife Susan of Union Mills, and Kathy Morock and husband Mike of Royal Center, brothers, Don Pugh and wife Donna of Logansport and Jim Pugh of Royal Center, 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Kistler Cemetery in Royal Center.
