Donald P. Miller

Donald P. Miller, 82, of Logansport passed away at 12:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his residence.
Born on July 27, 1928 in Waukegan, Illinois, he was the son of the late Paul A�A�?A�A...?PudA�A�?A�i�� and Mary (Lenon) Miller. On May 24, 1952 he married Emma M. Foust.
He was a 1946 Logansport High School graduate.
Don formerly worked on the Pennsylvania Railroad and Logan Lumber. He was also a former private homebuilder contractor and he retired in 1984 from the State Hospital as a carpenter.
He was a member of the VFW 3790, American Legion 60, and the Logansport Eagles, and he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Emma M. Miller of Logansport, son, Jeffrey P. Miller and his wife Pam of Logansport, brother, Thomas L. Miller of Lafayette, sisters, Jalene Lewis and her husband Larry of Logansport and Suzanne Parker of Logansport, grandchildren, Jody Achey and husband Kenny, Baylee Miller, Danielle Richardson and Justin Miller, and 6 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by son, Clifford Miller, brother, Charles R. Miller and sister, Judy Roe.
Services will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Marocco Funeral Chapel.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
