Donald E. Whiteman, 56, of Logansport died at 10:16 p.m. Tuesday November 20, 2007 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 3, 1951 in Logansport, the son of the late Roy E. and Betty (Fowler) Whiteman. On February 14, 1987 he married Barbara Rice, she survives.
Mr. Whiteman had worked at Exide for 23 years and was currently a Security Guard at Logansport Memorial Hospital since 2004.
He was a member of The Vineyard Community Church, a 1969 Logansport High School graduate, he enjoyed deer hunting, working on cars and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Whiteman of Logansport, 2 sons Christopher D. Campbell of Logansport and Travis D. Campbell of Nyona Lake, 3 daughters, Melissa M. Campbell of Logansport, Cherenae M. Mullens (Neil) of Onward, and Sabrina N. Whiteman of Logansport, 1 brother Edward Whiteman (Peggy) of Kokomo, 2 sisters Kay Watts (Fred) of Lafayette and Debbie Artrip (Dennis) of Lake Cicott, 7 Grandchildren.
Services will at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday November 28, 2007 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport with Pastor Bruce Vernon officiating.
Friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday November 27, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
