Donald E. Wise
January 17, 1931 — October 19, 2012
Donald E. Wise, Sr., 81, of Logansport passed away at 11:30 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born on January 17, 1931 in Cass County, he was the son of the late John and Joy (Ehler) Wise. On October 9, 1949 he married Doris Anne Willy, she survives.
He was a 1949 graduate of Grass Creek High School.
Don worked for over 35 years and retired as Foreman from Matthew-Warren in Logansport.
He attended All Saints Catholic Church.
Don enjoyed bowling, golfing, jigsaw puzzles, and collecting baseball cards and coins. He was also an avid Notre Dame, Cubs and Bears fan.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Anne Wise of Logansport, his children, Pamela D. Weber and husband Paul of Batesville, Madonna M. Lorraine and husband Ron of Houston, Texas and Gene M. Wise and wife Tracy of Columbus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by son, Donald E. Wise, Jr. and daughter Cynthia Anne Wise.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Marocco- Rans Funeral Chapel.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
