Donald Patrick Carte

Donald Patrick Carte, 52, of Kokomo passed away peacefully at 12:50 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022 at home.

Born on January 21, 1970 at home in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late James Donald and Mary Jo (Glisson) Carte.

He formerly worked in the maintenance department at Walnut Creek Apartments in Kokomo.  Patrick enjoyed fishing, working on cars, going to the racetrack, remodeling and carpentry work.

Survivors include his significant other, Cindy Mayfield and their beloved dog Daisy, siblings David (Debbie) Carte, Leann (Tim) Castor, Todd Carte , and sister in law, Krista Carte.  He is also survived by neice Lindsey (Ross) Bailey Dustin (Jill) Castor, Josh Carte, Ryan Castor, Shane Carte and Logan Carte, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. He also had a close relationship with Cindy's children, Andrea Younts and finance Jeremy, Byron (Becca) Seward and Cindy's grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by brothers, Kerry Carte and Chris Carte.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Tipton Elks Lodge, 117 E. Madison St., Tipton, IN. 46072
