Donna J. Hoover

Donna J. Hoover, 96, Logansport, Indiana, passed away on October 30, 2024. Born June 11, 1928 in Logansport, she was the daughter of James C. Johnson and G. Julia McGinnis Johnson Druley and step-father John E. Druley.

On May 29, 1968 she was married to Howard H. Hoover, who preceded her in death. Donna was a 1946 graduate of Logansport High School. 

She was a member of the Logansport Active and the Associate Chapters of Tri Kappa Sorority (at one time called Alpha Mu Chapter). She served for many years as president of the Associate Chapter of Tri Kappa and as president of Noble Township grade school PTA. Donna helped to establish and organize the Junior Civic Theater and also belonged to the COBI Investment Group. She was an avid Euchre card player and in her later years belonged to two Euchre card groups. 

Donna loved all animals, especially cats and took care of several during her lifetime as well as having a pet sitting business. Donna attended Lake Cicott Methodist Church. 

Surviving Donna Hoover are daughter Gay Kiesling, and her daughter-granddaughter Jill Heishman; daughter Paula Kiesling Cosgray and son-in law Garry Cosgray, granddaughter Alissa Haygood (Jeff), and her children Dylan and Taylor Jordan; grandson Joe Cosgray (Rachael), and his son Blake (Amber), Keaton (Robin), Jace, Bridget (Reese); Preceding her in death was son Broc J. Kiesling(Janet), and surviving are his daughter Shae Lobenthal (Rodney), and their son, Dylan, and his stepsons Kyle Hagene (Lindsey) and Mike Hall (Theresa). Also preceding her in death is half-brother, Jim Johnson, and surviving is half-sister Judy Johnson. 

Memorial contributions in memory of Donna can be made to Cass County Humane Society, 700 Water Street, Logansport, IN 46947. 

Private family service will be held at a later date.
