Donna Mae Ross, 67 of Lucerne, died at 3:04 p.m., Monday, July 4, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born October 29, 1943 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Ross and Dorothy (Morrison) Ross.
She was a 1961 Lucerne High School graduate. Donna was a member of Lucerne Zion Methodist Church and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Winamac. Donna was also an avid bowler who loved keeping the campfire burning at her familyA�A�?A�?A�s cottage on the Tippecanoe River.
Donna formerly worked at Logan Machine and Mike Anderson Pontiac both in Logansport. She was currently employed at Four County Mental Health Center in Logansport.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Ross of Lucerne, sisters, Sandra Weldy and husband Bob, of Winamac and Carolyn Teyner and husband Michael, of Lucerne and nieces and nephew, Sherrie Teyner Williams, Kenan Mayhew, Steve Teyner and Lisa Long. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor David Sommers officiating.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the funeral home and also one hour prior to the time of service on Thursday.
Burial will be at McKinley Memorial Gardens in Winamac.
