Donnabelle Kauffman

Donnabelle Newell Kauffman, 85, of Buffalo, formerly of Royal Center went to be with the Lord at 7:05 p.m., February 10, 2011 at her residence with her family and dog, Heidi, at her side.
Born February 8, 1926, north of Royal Center, she was the daughter of the late Robert Aaron and Ollie (Hufford) Newell along with her twin brother, Donnell. On September 15, 1946 she was united in marriage to Charles Edward Kauffman at Royal Center United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2000.
She was a 1944 Royal Center High School graduate. Donnabelle was a member of Royal Center United Methodist Church where she was very active and a former member of Order of Eastern Star of Royal Center.
Donnabelle was a homemaker all of her life. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading. She was a loyal fan of Indiana University and enjoyed watching them play basketball. She loved traveling to southern Indiana and taking in shows.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna May Kauffman and son, Ralph Edward Kauffman and his wife, Jan, all of Buffalo, 4 grandsons, Micky Kauffman and wife, Amy of Metamora, Illinois, Tim Kauffman and wife, Amy of Remington, IN., Matt Kauffman of Tallahassee, FL., Ralph Kauffman, Jr. and wife, Tracy of Royal Center, 2 great grandsons, Dylan Carden and Andrew Kauffman, 5 great granddaughters, Brittney, Briana, Madison, Nadia and Sara Kauffman and 1 great grandson, Zander, who hasnA�A�?A�?A�t arrived yet. Also surviving are 3 sisters-in-law and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by 5 brothers, Vernon, Kenneth, Paul, Harry and twin brother, Donnell Newell and 2 sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m., Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home with visitation 2 hours prior to the time of service.
Pastor Kevin Drane will officiate and burial will be at Royal Center Cemetery.
