Dorothy J. Miller, 84 of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
She was born September 15, 1937 in Winamac to the late James Jr. and Catherine (Starr) Hubeny. On May 21, 1955, she married Thomas E. Miller in Kewanna.
She was a Kewanna High School graduate Class of 1955 and attended Ball State University and Ancilla College.
Dorothy formerly worked at Culver Elementary as a teacher’s aid. She was also a licensed insurance agent formerly working at Nor Cen Insurance Agency in Culver.
She formerly served as a Union Twp. 4-H leader, Marshall County 4-H Council, County sewing project assistant and Sec/ Treasurer of the 4-H Tractor Pull Committee.
Dorothy enjoyed sewing, crafts, baking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by husband, Thomas Miller of Plymouth, children, Ron Miller (Nancy) of Culver, Larry Miller (Debbie) of Plymouth and Debora Smoker (Greg) of Wanatah, grandchildren, Mandy Miller, Cindy Miller, Kalee Miller, Jacob Smoker, Matt Smoker, Joe Smoker and Melissa McGough and great grandchildren, Katie, Sadie, Eli and Stella. She will be deeply missed and always in our hearts.
Services were private.
Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ran Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, Kewanna.
