Dorothy B. (Campbell) Jones

Dorothy Barbara Jones, 94, of Royal Center passed away at 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at The Hearth at Tudor Gardens in Zionsville. Born July 8, 1918 in Kewanna, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Edith Campbell. She was a 1936 Logansport High School graduate and also a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Lucerne. On January 29, 1938, she married Mark Jones. He preceded her in death May 14, 2007. Siblings Doyle, Lester, and Roberta preceded her in death. Dorothy was a dedicated homemaker and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She devoted her life to her family. She was a true partner to her husband, Mark. Together they built and maintained their home in Royal Center. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, baking and especially family get-togethers. Survivors include daughter, Tona M. Catavolos (George) of Zionsville, sons, Michael E. Jones of Bonita Springs, Florida and Mark A. Jones (Karen) of Chicago. She is also survived by sister, Kathryn Butts, brother, John Campbell (Virginia), grandchildren, Michelle Jones, Denise Rebeor (Gene), Mackenzie Jones, Calli Jones, Lindsay Catavolos and Stephanie Catavolos and great grandchildren, Matthew Drajeske, Marisa Drajeske, Reagan Rebeor, Tori Rebeor and Lexi Rebeor. Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Royal Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.
