Services for Dorothy M. Miller, 93, of Logansport formerly of Royal Center will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.
She died at 5:30 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2009 at Woodbridge Health Campus.
Born on June 1, 1915 in Cass County, she was the daughter of Alvin and Nellie (Hoover) Hines. On September 22, 1934 she married Gene E. Miller in Winamac and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1990.
She was a 1934 Pulaski High School Graduate.
Dorothy was a Homemaker and a member of Logansport Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Euchre and she loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are Sons, Robert G.Miller and his wife Joyce of Royal Center, Alvin E. Bud" Miller and wife Joan of Twelve Mile and James R. Miller and wife Mary of Greentown Daughters Marjorie P. Flitcraft of Peru and Linda Eytcheson and husband Charlie of Kokomo Sister Mary Ellen Spearow of Reedstown Wisconsin 10 Grandchildren 12 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandsons.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Ted Adam Albert Gerald and Johnny sisters Tillie Ulmer and Lula Green son-in-law Jack Flitcraft and daughter-in-law Judy Miller.
Pastor Aaron Gross will officiate at the services and burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday 03/11/10 2009 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes Royal Center.
