Douglas “DJON” James Omega Nilson, 47, of Fulton passed away at 12:17 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2019 at his residence.
Born on January 22, 1972 in Logansport, he was the son of Richard and Lois (Baker) Nilson who reside in Twelve Mile.
He was a graduate of Caston High School.
Doug was a former fabricator for Dragon Incorporated in Akron for several years. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, fishing and “collecting everything”.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Lois Nilson of Twelve Mile, companion, Kim Brown of Fulton, son’s, Cole A. Nilson of Fulton, Cane J. Nilson of Fulton and Clyde Wilson of Star City, brother’s, William Nilson (Amber) of Twelve Mile and Richard Nilson of Florida and sister’s, Theressa DeWitt (Brian) of Young America and Jessica Couchman of Greentown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his first grandchild on the way.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dakota “Cody” Nilson and brother, Tracy Nilson.
Services for Doug will be at 5:00 p.m., Friday, June 21, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Crematory with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in c/o the family to assist with expenses.
