Dr. Joseph R. Lemoine

Dr. Joseph Robert Lemoine, 64, of Logansport and Cleveland, Mississippi passed away at 5:20 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born on August 26, 1949 in Lafayette, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Dr. Joseph and June (Hawkins) Lemoine. On August 13, 1977 he married Hannelore Niess, she survives.
He was a 1971 graduate of the University of Houston and a 1978 graduate of Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine.
He was a Doctor of Podiatry in Cleveland, Mississippi where he practiced at the Delta Healthcare Center.
He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the National Podiatric Association.
Survivors include his wife, Hannelore Lemoine of Cleveland, Mississippi, daughter, Laura Miller (Matthew) and their son, McLane of Memphis, Tennessee, sisters, Linda McPherson (Carl) of Logansport and Carol Tilley( David) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by son, John Lemoine and niece, Ginny McPherson.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Father Michael McKinney officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
Burial will be at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
