Dwaine Paradis

Dwaine Paradis, 67, of Lake Cicott passed away at 1:28 a.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on December 24, 1943 in Chicago, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Beatrice M. (Hamilton) Paradis. On August 8, 1964 he married Judith L. Gatewood, she survives.
Dwaine was a graduate of Hyles- Anderson College in Crown Point, he enjoyed woodworking and he was a retired welder from SIA in Lafayette.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Paradis, daughter, Emmalee K. Garate and her husband Temo all of Lake Cicott, brother, Lane Paradis and wife Jacqueline of Valparaiso, mother in law, Wetona Gatewood of Florida, brother in law, Samuel Gatewood and wife Carole of Florida, sister in law, Toni Paradis of Las Vegas, granddaughters, Judith Elise Garate of Lake Cicott, Eden Beasy and husband TJ of Buffalo, and Emmalee Erin Garate of Lake Cicott.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Robert J. Paradis, Jr.
Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2011 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kevin Drane will officiate.
All are invited to a meal at the Royal Center Family Life Center immediately following the service.
