Edgar M. Thomas

Edgar M. Thomas, 88 of Rochester formerly of Kewanna, passed away at 4:50 a.m., Sunday, May 2, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.

Born on January 24, 1933 in Stockwell, Indiana, he was the son of the late George and Helen (Judkins) Thomas.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and later served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.

He was a graduate of Stockwell High School. On December 25, 1953, he married Roxie Joanne Liston. She survives.

Ed was a retired machine operator from Federal Mogul in Leiters Ford.

Surviving with his wife are children, Steven A. Thomas of Rochester, Bryan Thomas (Deanna) of Kewanna, Sue Snyder (Joe) of Plymouth, Teresa Van Meter of Logansport and Deborah Horn of Rochester. He is also survived by 52 grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters.

Visitation and Services will be private.

Burial with Military Rites will be performed at Citizens IOOF Cemetery in Kewanna.
