Services for Edith M. James, 83, of Logansport will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday May 6, 2008 at Marocco Funeral Chapel, Logansport.
She passed away at 5:45 p.m. Friday May 2, 2008 at Chase Center.
Born Sept. 21, 1924 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Jess and Daisy (Shuey) Prophet.A� On November 23, 1940 she married Cecil P. James, he preceded her in death April 22, 2000.
Edith was a Homemaker
Survivors include 1 daughter, Betty L. Frye of Logansport, 6 grandchildren, Gary Paul McCain, Chris Black, Larry Frye, Jr., Paul Frye, Danny Frye and Dennis Frye, 21 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren and a very caring sister in law, Patty James and her family (especially Jeff).
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Carolyn McCain, 2 brothers, 1 sister and 2 great grandchildren.
Calling will be from 11-1 p.m. Tuesday May 6, 2008 at the funeral home.
Dr. Horace Smith will officiate at the service and burial will be at St. Johnchr(39)s Cemetery, Logansport.
