Edith (Russo) Myers

Edith (Russo) Myers, 90, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Edith was born to Mary (Perrone) and Joseph Russo in Logansport, Indiana on May 17, 1927 as the youngest of three boys and six girls.

Edith was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters as well her husband Cecil Myers.  She is survived by her daughter, Jayne Henson who is married to Gordon Henson, also from Logansport.

Edith was a long-time member of All Saints Catholic Church in Logansport, IN and a committed Notre Dame fan.

She was formerly employed at RBM and retired from Switches in Logansport.

Edith moved to Bayport, MN two years ago to be closer to her daughter and her family. Edith’s last day was spent at a joyful family celebration at Jayne and Gordon’s home, surrounded by her four grandchildren and their families. Edith had 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at All Saints Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior in the All Saints Catholic Church Hall.

Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
