Eladio Zarate Martinez, 42, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Logansport.
He was born on January 8, 1973 in El Pueblo De Juchique De Ferrer, Veracruz, Mexico. He was the son of Luis Martinez and Fidela Zarate Romero.
Eladio was employed at Cosgray’s Tree Farm. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
He is survived by his life partner, Silvia Herrera of Logansport, father, Luis Martinez of Mexico, step children, Diego Munoz of Logansport and Cecilia Madrigal of Logansport and sister, Rafahela of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Chicago and burial will be in Mexico.
Local arrangements have been entrusted to Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel.
