Elaine H. Terry

Elaine H. Terry, 88 years old of Logansport passed away peacefully at 11:53 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on May 28, 1936 in New London, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hazel (Hathaway) Stoner.

She was a professional housekeeper.

Elaine was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church where she felt His presence within the church family. She enjoyed playing bingo and going out to eat.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Michelle Leistritz, Gina (Bloxham) West, Timothy Bloxham, Joshua Bloxham, 4 great grandchildren all of Florida, and sisters, Shirley Ford of Louisiana, Janet Woodworth of Logansport and Diane Rescek (Gerard) of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by daughter, Rachel Leistritz and brother-in-law, Roger Woodworth.

Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery.
