Eloise A. Speed Starbuck

Eloise A. Speed Starbuck, 71, of Logansport passed away at 9:47 p.m., Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Howard Community Regional Hospital in Kokomo.

Born on April 26, 1941 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. and M. Eleanor (Murphy) Cotner. On October 3, 1993 she married George E. Starbuck and he preceded her in death on August 31, 2010.

Eloise had formerly worked at Irma's Restaurant, TM Morris and spent over 20 years at Chase Center as a Nurse's Assistant. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking.

Survivors include her children, Toni Bernhart (Dennis) of Carterville, Georgia, John M. Speed (Robin) of Elkhart, and Carla Speed of Logansport, step children, Beth Vore (Donald) of Logansport, Angela K. Flory (Eric) of Peru and Melissa G. Flory (Steven) of Goshen. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, J. Patrick Cotner and Michael J. Cotner.

Services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Marocco- Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Newman officiating.

Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Deer Creek Cemetery in Onward.
