Services for Ethel Good Shelhart, 99, of Royal Center, Indiana will be held at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 10:00 a.m.. She died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, January 1, 2007 at Millerchr(39)s Merry Manor, Logansport, Indiana. Born June 25, 1907 in Cass County, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Ward and Lulu (Eldridge) Good, and she was a 1925 Burnettsville High School Graduate. She married Donald D. Shelhart, Sr. October 9, 1926 in Burnettsville, Indiana and he preceded her in death January 27, 1992. Mrs. Shelhart was a former member of the Burnettsville Baptist Church and she loved yardwork, cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.. She retired after 25 years from the H.W. Gossard Company, Logansport, Indiana. Surviving are son, Donald D. Shelhart Jr. (Frances) of Logansport, Indiana, Daughter, Carolyn S. Winters (Joe) of Walton, Indiana, Grandchildren, Gregory Ingram, Michael Ingram (Connie), Jeffrey Shelhart (Colleen), Susan Cahalan (Tim), Debra Shanks (Jeff), Sueann Berry (Brad) and Ward Haselby (Tammy), 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 1 son Robert Shelhart, 1 daughter Patsy Hazelby, 1 brother Paul Good, 2 sisters Nellie Watts and Mabel Good, and 1 Grandson Larry Ingram. The Rev. David Sommers will officate at the services. Burial will be at Buck Cemetery, Thornhope, Indiana. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel.
