Ethel F. Slusser

Ethel F. Slusser, 100, of Logansport passed away at 1:45 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Chase Center.
Born on October 13, 1910 in Lucerne, she was the daughter of the late Ura and Zoella (Fidler) Witters. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harry Merle Jones in 1945 and her second husband Harold Slusser in 1983.
She had worked at General Tire and the H.W. Gossard in Logansport. She was also a homemaker who enjoyed growing roses and spending time with her family.
Survivors include stepson, Thomas Slusser and wife Cecilia of Logansport, grandchildren, Pam Bottoms of Chicago, Dawn A. Metzger of Royal Center, Randy Jones, Dale Jones, and David Jones all of Illinois, Shane Jones, Daniel Slusser, Mark Slusser, and Frank Slusser all of Logansport, David Slusser of New Albany and Laura Yurs of Indianapolis. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by daughter, Shirley Davis Martinez, son, Lorndean Jones, grandson, Roland Davis and great granddaughter, Heather Metzger, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Homes, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Andy Weil officiating.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery, Logansport.
