Eva Fae Leap

September 6, 1920 — September 25, 2009

Eva Fae Leap, 89, of Culver went to be with her Lord at 10:06 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2009 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.

Born on September 6, 1920 near Jubilee school east of Kewanna in Fulton County, she was the daughter of the late Loran and Floy (Caldwell) Leap. She lived in Aubenaubee township until 1970 when she moved to Culver.

Eva was a 1936 Leiters Ford High School graduate. She was a member and pianist at Zion Gospel Chapel until it closed and she then attended Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Culver for the last 10 years. Eva was very devoted to her family, she loved animals, music, flowers and gardening.

She retired in 1976 from Ball Band Company now known as Uniroyal in Mishawaka to where she commuted weekly for over 33 years.

Survivors include sister in law, Gladys Leap of Culver, 6 nieces and nephews, Ann Blair of Mentone, John Leap and wife Debbie of Rochester, Patsy Holcomb and husband Jerry of Anderson, Luanne Phillips of Fairborn, Ohio, Leon Sims and friend Brenda of Burr Oak and Loran Sims and wife Linda of Warsaw. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Treva Leap, sister, Beulah Adams, sister, Frances Sims and brother Manson Leap.

Graveside Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Kewanna with Pastor Ron Lewellen officiating.A�
