Fern E. Wilson

Fern E. Wilson, 93 of Logansport passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne.

Born on December 27, 1930 in Cass County, she was the daughter of Emmanuel and Catherine (Stewer) Baker.

On June 27, 1948 she married Everett E. Wilson, Sr. He preceded her in death on June 14, 1997.

Fern was a homemaker and enjoyed long walks, taking care of her yard and her dog, Princess. She was also a Nascar and Tony Stewart fan.

Survivors include her children, Anna Harrison (William) of Logansport, Marilyn Wootten of Logansport, Christina Fielder of Logansport, Larry Wilson (Barbara) of Logansport, Everett Wilson, Jr. (Debbie) of Fulton, Rick Wilson (Leona) of Logansport, Cheryl Blickenstaff (Allen) of Logansport and Marcia McDougle (David) of Logansport and brother, Frederick Baker of Texas. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by son, John Wilson, sisters, Dorothy Baker, Gladys Friskey and Mabel Kile, sons-in-law, Preston Wootten and Neil Fiedler and grandchildren, Kimberly Wilson, Shelby Blickenstaff, Jack Harrison and Christopher Wilson.

Services will be at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, 119 E. Market St., Logansport. 

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Graveside services will be private at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
